THE SHOW NEVER ENDS!

October at Teatro del Sale is packed with events — no, not just packed, absolutely bursting at the seams! With music, theatre, dance, cinema and so much more.
Our Circo-lo is getting into the heart of the new season with a programme full of events, artists and stories, each one different from the next. There really is something for everyone: choose your favourite show or, why not, make room in your calendar and come and experience them all!

It all starts on 4 October with the Milonga, an afternoon dedicated to Argentine tango together with the Pablo Tango Firenze dance school, where you can let yourself be carried away by the rhythm of the Milonga.
On 9 October, we move from tango to Flamenco Pop Italiano by Dale Libre!, Federico Bonami’s singer-songwriter project, born from a simple question that is anything but obvious: what does freedom mean?
Then, on 10 October, Bube’s Band with “La Repubblica dei Cantautori” takes us on a journey through Italian rock and singer-songwriter music, travelling back in time… but not too far back, come on!

But October at TdS is not just about music.

On 16 October, one of the Circo-lo’s most beloved evenings is back: the Murder Mystery Dinner, this time with Morte in Brughiera. A villa in the Swiss countryside, a murder that has yet to take place, suspects and clues to piece together. Will you be able to solve the mystery?
On 17 October, Teatro del Sale hosts Fánhuā a Teatro, with the Festival del Cinema Cinese’s special events and activities: a day dedicated to Chinese culture, traditions and cuisine, creating a bridge between East and West. And that evening, it’s back to great music with Satisfaction Night: Marco Bello takes us through more than sixty years of the Rolling Stones, with rock, blues and timeless classics.
On 22 October, it’s time for Acoustic Vintage, with Luca Burgalassi & The Sunset Vibes taking us on a journey through folk, blues and rock from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.
Then, on 23 October, get ready for an absolutely CRAZY dance performance: the TdS stage is set to transform with Affilate i Tacchi!, a performance by Heels Project Florence inspired by the jungle, full of energy, instinct and movement.
On 24 October, we step into the visionary universe of Battiato with Tutto l’Universo di Battiato, a tribute to the songs and atmospheres of one of the great masters of Italian music.
Then we continue with the music of Pino Daniele: on 29 October, Terra Mia – Un Viaggio nella Musica di Pino Daniele brings to the Teatro del Sale stage the songs and poetry of one of the most beloved artists in Italian music history.

On 30 October, music and cinema come together in Cinema in Corde – The Sound of the Strings: Alessandro Golini on violin and Paolo Batistini on guitar reinterpret some of the most beautiful soundtracks in cinema history.

And to round off the month, could we really not celebrate Halloween at the Circo-lo? On 31 October, Burlesque Halloween arrives, with Viola Panìk & Mister Punch and a new generation of performers bringing together burlesque, theatre, irony and sensuality. A night that is definitely out of the ordinary — just the way we like it.

In short, October at Teatro del Sale is hard to sum up in just one word.
Luckily, we don’t have to: just come and experience it for yourself!
